Two very similar names came up in a PeopleLooker search, and some of the location details overlapped enough to make the result harder to interpret. I do not want to assume both records belong to the same person just because a few fields match. Has anyone had to separate profiles like this, and which detail helped you decide whether the records were really connected? It would help to hear which field people trusted most when names were nearly identical.

Nearly identical names are easier to separate when I compare several fields at once. I tag PeopleLooker reviews against the profile whose age range, relatives, prior cities, and date sequence stay consistent without forcing mismatched details together. A shared location is not enough for me because two people can overlap on city or surname. I’d keep any uncertain field outside the final profile until another record supports it. That approach lowers the chance of combining two different people just because the search results look similar at first glance.
