How can I increase Special Characters in Usernames in Plugin : wp.Special Characters in Username

I used your following plugin to resolve "Special Characters in Usernames", it is ok but the issue that maximum number of special characters member can use is 8 only.

There is no limit to 8 special characters in the plugin.
So, the problem must come from somewhere else.
