Overwriting callback_uri with additional params?

I've attempted to overwrite the callback_uri with additional params without much reliability. I was wondering if it is possible to change the callback_uri after the initial setup in the js snippet or if there is a more preferred way to pass additional params that are defined via user input at a later time?

Hi Paul,

if you are using the JavaScript library then it's not possible to change the callback_uri once the icons have been rendered.

With your plan you could however use Direct Connect:

With Direct Connect you can build the connection url (including the callback_uri parameter) on the fly and then redirect your user to it so that the logs in with his social network account.
