I tried to input the redirect url given however microsoft keeps posting this error

"Enter a URL that contains the root domain."

The only way I can get a client id and secret was to put in my fullsite- http://mysite.com. However, that does not work

    Hi Lee,

the Root domain should automatically be filled out when you fill out the Redirect URLs.

If you enter per example https://subdomain.api.oneall.com/socialize/callback.html as Redirect URLs then the Root domain should change to subdomain.api.oneall.com

Isn't our Root Domain filled out automatically?
  • It wasn't filling out automatically. However, I was copy/pasting it in so I'll try directly typing it in and get back. Thanks for the response.

  • Could you share the exact redirect URL you’re trying to enter, and where you’re entering it (for example, Microsoft Entra app registration or another Microsoft developer portal)? The redirect URI usually needs to be the exact callback URL your app uses (not just the site’s homepage) and bowl games must match the URI configured in your app. Also, check whether Microsoft is asking for your root/homepage domain in a separate field from the redirect URI.

If you share the platform or plugin you’re setting up and the error context, people may be able to point you to the right field. Don’t post your client secret publicly.
