Facebook: This app is still in development mode

App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.

I thought I set up everything correctly, but I got this message when I clicked the Facebook icon to sign into our site.

Ideas?

    Hi Diana,

please go to your Facebook apps here:
    https://developers.facebook.com/

Then select the app that you are using for OneAll, click on the App Review link in the left menu panel and make sure that your app is available to the general public.

    It should look like this:
[ YES | ] Your app is currently live and available to the public
  • Thanks, Claude. I made the app public. Then I got the error "Can't Load URL: The domain of this URL isn't included in the app's domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings." I went to change the App Domains and got the following error:

"App domains must match the domain of the Secure Canvas URL, Mobile Site URL, Unity Binary URL, Site URL or Secure Page Tab URL. Please correct these domains ... "

I cannot find these in the app settings. Where do I make the needed changes?

    Hi Diana,

please go to your Facebook apps here:
    https://developers.facebook.com/

Then select the app that you are using for OneAll and click on the Settings \ Basic link in the left menu panel.
Then click on the + Add Platform button, select Website, enter the following value and then click on the Save Changes button.

    Site URL:
    http://lekhawriting.api.oneall.com/
  • I have exact same issues with facebook login. Did you find any solution?
  • Hi,
In the Facebook app settings, do you have anything under App Domain?
    If so, blank this out.
You do need the Website / Site URL as mentioned above though.

Let us know how this goes.
    Regards

Welcome!
