Cannot link account to social media

Hi,

My website is using Drupal version 7.44. When I try to link my account with facebook (even with google+), it directed me to the facebook page and request me to enter my password. When I enter my password, it then directed me back to my website (edit account page), but my account still not connected with facebook.

Can someone help me? thank you in advance.

Yes, this is not working for regular Drupal accounts.
Thanks for reporting it.

We have a fix for this (on github.com) which we'll be pushing to drupal.org shortly.
