How to disable users from editing their "website" field after signing up using steam (wordpress)

When a user creates an account with Steam, their website field within their personal profile is populated with the URL to their steam community. Is there a way to disable a user from editing their own website field so they cannot pose as another user?

Also, is it possible to display the users steam ID in the user list and allow admins on wordpress to search based on steam ID

If you go to the site www.steamidfinder.com and put the Steam profile URL, you will be given a STEAM_ID for that particular profile which is a unique identifier. Maybe its possible to include this on the user profile as well?

Let me know if this is possible

    Hi Mike,

Social Login is a login plugin, it does not offer the possibility to prevent the modification of the profile. What you could do is manually adding a disabled attribute on the input field for the website.

Also, is it possible to display the users steam ID in the user list and allow admins on wordpress to search based on steam ID Yes, that's possible, would however require a good amount of coding and unfortunately exceed the help that we can offer through our support forums.

    Regards,
  • Hi,
Regarding the question on the display of the steam id, didn't this work for you?
