Yes, I DO have checked off in the onall WP plugin Yes, try to link verified social network profiles to existing blog accounts (Default).
You can see at
http://sharethehorror.com/register/ your plugin is there along with an option to register with email.
I tested by registering with an email, THEN logged out, THEN logged in via oneall plugin at
http://sharethehorror.com/login/ using a facebook account that has an email THE SAME as the test account made WITHOUT the oneall plugin.
what it does is CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT with an email address like asjfhsjfhskfjshdfj15@example.com rather than LINKING to the account jut created. Please go ahead and do yourself to confirm.
Please, what have i done wrong?
Comments
could you please make these checks:
- Make sure "Email" is ticked in the Facebook setup in the settings of your OneAll site
- Make sure the account linking is enabled in the Social Login settings in your WordPress admin area
Regards,
Registering in with a social account results with an empty profile on the /account page (no email address).
The /user-name page is also empty.
This probably explains why linking does not work.
However, the /update-registration page does show the social profile information.
So, there is something strange going on. Maybe you can detail further how this is set up.
