I have enabled OneAll Social on Wordpress now anyone can create an account on my site. I need to restrict it so as any account created via one of the social media API's is approved by the site admin. How do I accomplish this? I have the "Anyone Can Register" option turned off in the WP settings.
I was using a plugin, but I removed it as it did not work with OneAll. OneAll seems to ignore the Anyone can register option within WP as even with the Anyone can register disabled it still creates accounts on my WP site and lets them Logon
I dont want any unknowns to be able to create an account in my site. I want only accounts I create to have access but they can be tied to the social media accounts of the users to enable them to login.
Here is the workflow
I create the user accounts for my users. When they login they can associate their account with a social media source Next time they login they can now use the SM account to connect
allowing anyone to create even a basic account with limited rights is not an option for me.
Answers
how exactly are you approving users? Do you use a plugin to do so?
