How to get Steam accounts linked to already existing forum accounts?

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have recently installed the OneAll plugin on my phpbb 3.2 forum. Users can now register and log-in using Steam, but they seem unable to link their Steam accounts to already existing forum accounts. The log-in proces can be repeated over and over without the account getting linked.

Have I mis-configured something or is this a bug in the OneAll plugin?
