What is Allowed domains really?

Hi,
I still don´t understand what valid domains are.
If this is a valid domain www.example.com then I wonder if automatically www.example.com/subdomain_X is also a valid domain? OR do I have to put in all the subdomains in the box valid domains?

I would like to have a signup button on all my subdomains.

Hi Roger,

technically speaking this is not a subdomain:
www.example.com/subdomain_X

It's in fact a folder. Whitelisting www.example.com will whitelist all sub-folders too:
www.example.com/subdomain_1 www.example.com/subdomain_2 www.example.com/subdomain_3 www.example.com/subdomain_X
