Comment import to Wordpress does not add new messages

How often is the import being updated?
We are missing some of the new comments.

When I do a manual import, the new comments are also not being added.
The logs do only show: "Existing comment updated" messages.
Nothing about the new comments.

But in the LoudVoice Comments interface, the new comments are visible.

    Hi Edwin,

    the comments are normally synchronized on the fly. Do the missing comments have something special, like for example being in the trashbox or marked as spam?

    Yes I was able to see it and another post also came through. But sometimes, like the post of Andre, as seen on: is not able to come through.

    So now also the page and wordpress indicate 2 comments while the LoudVoice web part displays 3 comments.

    Also the manual sync does not push the post by Andre ( to our wordpress.

    I do not spot any strange things about his post.

    Hi Edwin,

    thank you for the dutch translation. It has already been added ;)
    From my side, it's hard to tell why the post is not being added.

    If you can grant me a temporary admin access, I could further debug the synchronisation. I could however understand if you don't feel comfortable in doing so.

    So far the issue seems to be with 1 post. I'll keep an eye on it for the next few days and see if it was a onetime issue.

    If I spot more issues, i'll get back to you for further support. I have to discuss with the other owners of the site if temporary access is ok. An other option might perhaps be a remote session.

  • You should review the import settings in LoudVoice to ensure they match your WordPress configuration, such as comment status and fnf post types.
