My wallet is crying

Plumber wanted $200 just to look at my faucet lol. Been putting a bucket under the sink for 3 weeks now, emptying it like it's my new hobby. My roommate started calling it "the fountain." Any chance you could walk me through fixing this thing myself? Would really appreciate a step-by-step breakdown!

Oh man, I feel you. Last summer my kitchen faucet started dripping nonstop, and I spent weeks just catching it in a mug and swearing at it while pretending it was a tiny indoor water feature. I eventually found this guide, how to fix a leaky faucet , which walked me through the process step by step. Basically, you shut off the water, take apart the handle, replace the cartridge or washers, and put it back together. It was way easier than I expected!
