Has anyone actually tried customizing their own spicy AI character?

So, I messed around with this function on one of those sites, and I'd say it's a mixed bag. You can tweak things like hair color, body type, general personality, and I’d say that if you really spend some time, the conversations are a bit better! I wish I could post an image of what I found, but you can find the function here. It's fun to try customizing these characters and see if you can make something that you actually enjoy talking to. I guess it depends on how much time you want to spend on it!

I've seen that some of these AI chat apps let you customize the character you're talking to, and I'm intrigued but also a little skeptical. Does anyone have experience actually creating a custom character, setting their personality traits, and all that? If so, does it actually make a difference in the conversations you have? Or does it just end up being a superficial detail that doesn't really matter in the long run? I'm curious about how deep the customization goes and if it's worth the effort.

It's quite interesting how far technology has come in terms of creating these virtual companions. The level of detail that some of these apps offer is pretty impressive, even if the end result is still a bit artificial. I wonder if, in the future, we'll reach a point where it's virtually impossible to distinguish between a real person and an AI in a text-based conversation. That's definitely a thought-provoking possibility to consider.
