Hey guys, got a question. I'm thinking about investing in some property in Dubai and renting it out to tourists for now. Then once I retire I'm planning to move there myself. What type of property do tourists go for the most, and what rents out the fastest?

It all comes down to how much money the tourist has. The ones with deep pockets rent penthouses right on the water, with their own pool on one of the upper floors and insane views of the Persian Gulf. The ones on a tighter budget can always grab a more modest apartment farther from downtown. But the thing is, pretty much anything there rents out really well.
Villas are the easiest to rent out, especially the ones closer to the water. People just have a more laid-back stay in them. And if the water's rough, there's always the pool to fall back on. Take a look at villas in Dubai for sale here: https://atvir.com/uae/residential-complexes/villas . Beachside properties there stay booked pretty much year round, so you're not going to have a hard time finding renters. It's the kind of investment that pays for itself pretty fast.
