Can't Load URL: The domain of this URL isn't included in the app's domains. Joomla & Facebook login

Hi,
Can't Load URL: The domain of this URL isn't included in the app's domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings.

The 'Click here to verify the API Connection Settings' = 'The settings are correct - do not forget to save your changes!'

I have included any imaginable combination of the website url without any progress or success.

Googling didn't bring an end to my misery.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thx,

    Hi Coert,

    this error:

"Can't Load URL: The domain of this URL isn't included in the app's domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings."

Means that you haven't entered the domains as described in step 6 of the Facebook app setup guide: " Click on the + Add Platform button, select Website, enter the following value and then click on the Save Changes button."

Could you please have a closer look at the guide?

    it's http://drivemoz.api.oneall.com (not https)
The value is also displayed in step 6 of the Facebook app setup guide.

  • thank you Claude,
I don't know if I have missed the spot/place to enter the domains.
I have these domains under 'Specify the domains where you are using our services '
    www.drivemoz.co.za
    drivemoz.co.za
    *.drivemoz.co.za
    drivemoz.api.oneall.com

    I still get the error.

In the facebok API setup I tried https://drivemoz.api.oneall.com as well as www.drivemoz.co.za and the error persists.

I will have a look at the guide.
  • Thank you, a user can now login with the facebook account.
  • Hi, I have the same issue, I have entered it EXACTLY as step 6 in the guide, copied and pasted, taken off the http etc (not https), I read your several support replies, still no joy. Do I have to wait for a certain time for facebook to sync the app settings? Any ideas pls.
  • Hi, I have the same issue. My domains are with german "ö" - but I have entered the long domain-name too:
    edpg.xn--lcknitz-90a.de
    xn--lcknitz-90a.de
    *.xn--lcknitz-90a.de
    löcknitz.de
    *.löcknitz.de
    edpg.löcknitz.de

API-Subdomain is edpg-forum - I checked the settings with the settings from our association account SOS-Childabduction - I can´t find an error to fix.

I still get the error. What can be the problem ? Pls help.
  • I have the same problem, can you check my setting below ?

    thanks,Eric

we have now updated our Facebook setup guide.

    thanks, the issue is fixed!
  • I think I have followed the guide as close as I can. Resulting in for facebook

    "
Unable to load URL: The domain for this URL is not included in the app's domains. Upload the URL by entering the app's all domains and subdomains in the App domains field of the app settings.
    "

Ok, then I looked at allowed domain in AllOne

    www.diabetio.com
    diabetio.com
    *.diabetio.com

I am using a subdomain to the above. Tried to add that on but Allone did not accept any other domains than those three described above.
Not clear to me if the error refer to set up app in Allone or facebook.

This I don´t understand from the Guide

"6 Choose WWW (Web) as platform, enter the following value and then click on the Save button.
Site URL: Enter the domain of your own website, i.e. http://www.example.com/
    "
Is it the full URL on the actual page where the user sign in you should use or is the root as shown.
If it is the full URL (including subpage) I suppose it should be a part of "allowed domains" ? which in my case is not possible to add, so I am stuck here.

    Hello,

it's the base domain and not related to where the user logs in.
Just strip of all folders from the url to get your domain name.

    So if you have this:
    http://www.example.com/subfolder

    The domain would be this:
    http://www.example.com/
