Instagram Sandbox Mode

I have read the support docs towards integrating IG social login on our website, however the mode from IG is still in sandbox mode and trying to submit for permission via IG manage clients but the submission button is not active.

All other social media logins , facebook, twitter, google+ working fine just IG.

Checked the forums no answer on this subject.

Please advise.

Hello,

Facebook does not recommend using Instagram for login anymore. Here a copy/paste from their documentation:

Instagram Basic Display is not an authentication solution. Data returned by the API cannot be used to authenticate your app users or log them into your app. If you need an authentication solution we recommend using Facebook Login instead

Currently we are investigation what would be the best solution to continue using Instagram.

Hello,

Instagram has postponed the disabling of the legacy API:

We understand these are challenging times for our developer community, so we are postponing disabling the Instagram Legacy API Platform by 90 days to June 29, 2020.

We will however release a new version this week, so that you can either use the legacy API or start using the new API.
