So, I messed around with this function on one of those sites, and I'd say it's a mixed bag. You can tweak things like hair color, body type, general personality, and I’d say that if you really spend some time, the conversations are a bit better! I wish I could post an image of what I found, but you can find the function here. It's fun to try customizing these characters and see if you can make something that you actually enjoy talking to. I guess it depends on how much time you want to spend on it!

I've seen that some of these AI chat apps let you customize the character you're talking to, and I'm intrigued but also a little skeptical. Does anyone have experience actually creating a custom character, setting their personality traits, and all that? If so, does it actually make a difference in the conversations you have? Or does it just end up being a superficial detail that doesn't really matter in the long run? I'm curious about how deep the customization goes and if it's worth the effort.
It's quite interesting how far technology has come in terms of creating these virtual companions. The level of detail that some of these apps offer is pretty impressive, even if the end result is still a bit artificial. I wonder if, in the future, we'll reach a point where it's virtually impossible to distinguish between a real person and an AI in a text-based conversation. That's definitely a thought-provoking possibility to consider.
I’ve seen a lot of people say the same thing the customization part is actually more interesting than expected when you take time to fine-tune the personality and conversation style. Small details can really change how natural the AI feels during chats. Geekintime recently covered how AI character platforms are becoming more advanced with personalization features, and their official website has some useful insights into how these systems are evolving beyond simple chatbots into more interactive digital experiences.
Hey, I’m planning to build my own AI character/assistant for daily tasks and workflows, and I want to start with either ChatGPT Plus or Claude. The official pricing is a bit expensive for me right now, so I’ve been exploring shared/group-buy platforms and noticed many people recommending SEOGBTools, though I haven’t tried it myself yet.
Has anyone here used it? I’d love to know how reliable the experience is, whether the access is stable for daily AI work, and if there are any issues with speed, usage limits, or account bans. Also open to other affordable and trustworthy alternatives if you have any suggestions.
