Newly Registered Users maintaining that group's color after being moved to Registered Users

Our limit for NRU is 3 posts, so after the third post, user's default group changes to Registered Users. However:

Original poster signed up a week ago and has posted 12 posts. He is not in the NRU group anymore, yet his coloring is from NRU. I noticed the same with another user who also registered via OneAll.

This seems to be OneAll-related, since users who register "normally" change their color after their 3rd post.

What might be causing this?

    Hi Mika,

our plugin only sets the role when the user connects for the first time, so I'm not sure how that issue is possible.
I tried to have a look, but I can't find Social Login. Where exactly can I login with a social network on your phpBB?

    Regards,
  • You should see it right there on the front page of our forum. :)

Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, WordPress, and YouTube are the options, and you should see them there close to the top.

    I have registered using Facebook.

    Here my profile:

Does it have the right color?
  • It does. :) But once you have posted three (3) messages, that pink - which is the color for Newly Registered Users - should change to blue, which is the color for Registered Users. By then, the user is removed from the NRU group, and RU becomes the default group.

You can post what ever you wish worth three messages here, because it is a topic for testing:

After that, you should log out and clear your cookies from Potku as the change to take place requires that.

It would be interesting to see what happens, if you have the time to do that. :)
  • Wait a minute! Why does it say in your info that you signed up with Potku.net at April 23rd, 2013? :D
  • Claude, do you have any idea why that is? It sounds odd.

Hi Mika, if you are a long-term OneAll user it's possible that I actually tried your implementation in 2013. Could you please remove my user account so that I can make a new, fresh test?
  • Sorry, I had totally forgotten this... You can now register again. :)
